cock: a male bird, especially a rooster

cockatrice: a mythical animal depicted as a two-legged dragon with a cock's head (rooster's head). It could kill you by glancing at you. It could turn people into stone. If it saw itself in a mirror, it would die.

compel: to force to do something, pressured and urged to do something

The government would condemn dad's land behind the station if dad didn't sell it at the price they offered.

condemnation: strong disapproval

The church is under condemnation when we don't use the Book of Mormon as we should.

condescension, condescend: to descend, to stoop down, to go to a lower level.

confederate: united in a league, alliance, or conspiracy; amalgamated;  united with others; having partners joined together; allys; 'you (Nephi) have a partner in this crime.'

confound:  to confuse or startle someone, to dumbfound someone, surprising or confusing shocking someone especially acting against their expectations

defiance: a resistance to authority

ore: A naturally occurring solid material from which metal can be extracted. An ore is a type of rock that contains sufficient minerals with important elements including metals that can be economically extracted from the rock. The ores are extracted from the earth through mining; they are then refined (often via smelting) to extract the valuable element, or elements.
