War Lessons
Lessons We Can Learn from Wars in the Book of Mormon:
- The value of freedom
- God's role in preserving freedom
- Moral justifications for waging war to uphold freedom
- Moral limitations on bloodshed
- For freedom's sake
- God can and will deliver those who trust in him and go forth in the strength of the Lord
- We need to defend our families: "Ye shall defend your families even unto bloodshed." (Alma 43:47)
